I’ve worked in both large corporates and small businesses
I’m very passionate about helping businesses leverage the power of the internet to deliver measureable business results. Having worked in various business development, IT, sales and marketing roles for corporates in both NZ and UK, as well as smaller businesses, I’ve got a unique perspective into how different companies have adopted different strategies in response to customer and business needs.
Working at the grass roots provided me with a strong foundation
While working for an established e-commerce business, I developed a strong understanding of websites from the grass roots side – learning all about specification/planning, user experience, content management and database / back-end techie stuff. But more importantly: I learnt how a company’s website can become its largest retail store and source of new business!
I’m results focused
I have a strong technical understanding of search marketing (search engine optimisation/SEO), and these days am completely focused on working with businesses to develop and implement successful website marketing strategies that deliver measureable results, providing a direct return for the money invested.
And in my spare time …
I play guitar in a band. We’re going nowhere but it’s fun.
I own a little boy called Harrison. He’s 15 months old and will play for the Black Caps one day.
I recall my snowboarding trip to Breckenridge in 2004, Colorado. Best time of my life!
I make a mean instant coffee. Come into the office, you’ll see.
I mountain bike, I run, I cycle, and I do up my house.
I travel to places like Peru, Thailand and Mt Eden Village.
